A roadmap, not a verb list.
The main screen is a vertical chain of calendar days. Each circle shows what that day holds: a new block of verbs, mistakes to repair, and older blocks returning for recall.
The chain gets denser the longer you use it. Early days hold a single new block; later ones carry that day's block plus every older block that has come due for recall.
One sentence, one form.
Every exercise is a real Italian sentence with one verb left unconjugated. The infinitive sits in the blank. Meaning, person, and the time or mood cues tell you which form the sentence needs. You type it or pick from four options.
Hints stay closed until you ask. Rule opens the grammar behind the tense. Hint shows the verb's full conjugation table, without marking which row answers the exercise. The small inline 文 glyphs give you the verb's meaning or a translation of the sentence.
How one day works.
A session is one new block plus everything due that day, usually five to ten minutes. Each day circle on the roadmap marks its work with three letters.
New. A fresh block of three to four verbs enters rotation.
Fix. Yesterday's mistakes come back for repair while the gap is still fresh.
Recall. An older block returns on schedule to prove you still hold it.
Blocks you keep getting right spread out: they return after 1 day, then 3 days, then 7 days, then 30. A block you miss comes back tomorrow as an X. The aim is holding a form across all of those recalls, not getting it right the first time.
From presente to imperativo.
The order is fixed. You start with presente, which carries most everyday speech. Imperfetto adds the past you describe; passato prossimo, the past that happened. Futuro follows, and then the path crosses into mood: condizionale for what would happen, congiuntivo for doubt, desire, and opinion, and imperativo for telling people what to do.
Each tense enters only when the earlier ones are already in rotation, so old forms keep returning while new ones arrive. You never pick what to study next. The roadmap does that, which is how ten minutes a day is enough.
What's inside.
More than fifty Italian verbs, picked for how often they come up in ordinary conversation, and around 900 sentences across seven tenses.
The core set includes parlare, mangiare, lavorare, giocare, prendere, vedere, dormire, essere, stare, avere, fare, andare, dare, dire, venire, sapere, potere, and volere, and the regular -are, -ere and -ire patterns they hang off.
Congiugno is built for A2 to C1 learners: people who read and listen comfortably but still freeze when a sentence demands a conjugated form. It is not a beginner course, and it is not a vocabulary app.
How this differs from lists, tables, and decks.
Verb lists
You can read a list and feel like you know it. Producing the form from meaning is the part that fails in conversation, so that is what the drills ask for.
Conjugation tables
Tables are organised by verb, for looking things up. Conversation asks for the form by situation, so every drill starts from a situation.

Which tenses are covered?

Do I type the answers or choose them?
Both. Every drill supports picking from four options or typing the form. Typed answers are graded accent-insensitively, so a missing accent does not count as a wrong verb form.
